Devil’s Den Tavern

Your great-grandpappy has recently passed away. Unbeknownst to you, he wanted you to take over his very popular tavern and continue running it. Unfortunately, the medieval era in which he lived is a time when the local magistrate is a bit, uh, shall we say, corrupt. If the inheritor can’t find proof of ownership, the magistrate will undoubtedly try to take over the tavern for himself.

Within the given time, you must use the clues and your creativity to locate the proof that you are the rightful owner of Devil’s Den Tavern.

The Search for the Holy Grail

Can you save Camelot?

You are one of King Arthur’s famous Knights of the Round Table. Having returned to Camelot for a brief rest, you are ordered to arms. It turns out that Morgause has summoned several knights to lay siege to Camelot, and they are now attacking the gates. 

The battle is not going well for the good guys!

Arthur believes that only the Holy Grail can help turn the tides for the Britons. He asks that you accompany him to Camelot’s basement to find the Grail. However, at the last minute, Arthur is summoned away to deal with the emergent threat of a breached gate. He didn’t even have time to tell you of all the puzzles and booby traps that protect Camelot’s treasure room and therefore protect the Grail.

Do you have what it takes to save the kingdom?  Can you and your fellow knights navigate all of Arthur’s (and maybe Merlin’s) safeguards and find the Grail?

 The fate of Britain is in your hands!

Due to the room size, it is strongly recommended to limit the number of participants to 6 people. The maximum number of participants is limited to 8 and will be strictly enforced.

The Other Side

Something is amiss…  You and your friend Johnny have long been fans of fantasy role playing games.  So much so, that you are convinced that magic is real and parallel universes can be accessed through magical means.  You and Johnny are getting close, you can just feel it!  Just one little breakthrough is all you need, you’re sure of it.  Today, when you got home from school, you found that things were about to get serious… Can you figure out how to access The Other Side?  Can you follow Johnny’s lead? Can you help Johnny conquer magic? If you do make it to The Other Side, can you make it back? That may be the biggest question of all.

You will have one hour to use the clues and your creativity to determine what happened to Johnny and then to fix the situation.  Can you help him?

This room has a large exploration focus.  A mix of old school combination locks and technology puzzles will be a time consuming challenge to beginners and experienced teams alike. While there are plenty of intellectual challenges, you better not stop moving for long or you may run out of time.
